dow hill architecture + design is a small, detail oriented architecture firm serving Maine and New Hampshire. We know what it takes to get your project from initial design through the contractor handing over the keys to your new home or commercial building.
We translate your desires, wants, needs and requirements into sketches and drawings to illustrate your design.
We’ll determine how local building codes affect your design/project and help navigate the sometimes daunting requirements to obtaining permits.
Once your project is out to bid, we can answer questions from bidders and give direction to help them finalize pricing. We’ll help with selection of the winning bid, and assist in contract negotiations. Even if your project doesn’t go out to bid, we’re able to provide Contractor or Builder recommendations for you.
After the contract for construction is awarded and during the construction of your project, we can assist you with answering the contractor/builder’s questions, review payment requisitions, and review construction progress.
