Residential
Renovation/Addition project in Ogunquit, Maine
The original gambrel roofed home, built in the 1950’s, was retained in this renovation/addition design. The owners wanted an addition designed that accomodated living on one floor, and also tied into and played off the original home’s style. The exterior was completely re-done to bring it all together.

Horse Stable
The original horse stable at the core of this renovation was such a beautiful old barn. The style and existing details made it easy to design the stall additions to look as if they had always been part of the barn’s original fabric.

Horse Arena & Show Ring
This companion building to the Horse Stable is a 100’ x 200’ steel framed building with a 70’ x 30’ storage “shed” on the end. We were tasked to design the exterior “skin” of the arena. I incorporated many of the existing details from the original Horse Stable to relate the two buildings to each other, and used these same details to break down the scale of the arena.

Peoples United Bank
This seemingly simple design, reflecting traditional New England details, presented an architectural challenge. The banks’ program requirements had to fit within the very small, set footprint of a previously approved project.

Waban Projects Offices
The administrative offices building for Waban Projects was sited in the woods adjacent to several of their existing buildings. The intent was to impart a “camp-like” feel to the building since it was near a small pond with a lot of seasonal camps.
